However, the volume of storage required depends heavily on how to keep your belongings in it. To help you, you can follow these tips:

1. Calculate the value of your property and make sure they are covered by insurance that you take.

  2. Label all your boxes clearly so you will easily find.

  3. Make a detailed list of your cards, you will keep in your home or office.

  4. Place large or heavy boxes at the base of the storage box and put lighter items on top.

  5. Do not place cardboard or heavy items on sofas or mattresses, they may distort.

  6. Use strong boxes and the same size, designed for the removal and storage. They will not harm your business and you will not waste space.

  7. Cover your assets with a drop cloth, dust-proof film. Wrap table legs and edges of furniture to prevent bumps and scratches. Protected by a blanket or bubble wrap on top of furniture.

  8. Wrap delicate items in protective packaging such as paper-bubble and write "fragile" on the cardboard.

  9. Use wardrobe boxes to store your clothes and avoid wrinkles. Clothes and bedding should be cleaned and dried completely. They should be stored preferably in bags provided for this purpose.

  10. Lawnmowers, petrol or diesel engines must be drained before being stored.

  11. Refrigerators and freezers must be fully defrosted and dried for storage. Their doors must be ajar to facilitate ventilation.

  12. Washing machines, clothes and dishes must be completely drained before storage.

  13. Cooking utensils such as pressure cookers, mixers should be cleaned and not greasy.

  14. The books and records must be stored horizontally, and not placed directly on the ground.

  15. Dishes, fragile items should be packed in paper and packed in cartons.
  16. Remember to position the items you'll need most often near the door of the box.

  17. Fill your boxes to prevent them from vanishing with time and crush their content.
